Will Norman

Will plays on the Willson Celebration Cornet mod. 460

Will Norman statements:  I work well with other people due to my experiences of playing in many different ensembles where good communication and people skills are needed. 

Will started playing the Bb Cornet when he was 7 years old, he was taught by his grandfather who was a Soprano Cornet player. He soon after joined the Tewkesbury Town Training Band and later progressed into their contesting senior band. Will then moved to the Flowers Band (Gloucester) his local championship section brass band on 3rd Cornet. He quickly progressed his way through the cornet ranks spending time on 2nd, Repiano and Solo Cornet. Will then accepted the Flugel Horn seat and spent two years gaining experience as a soloist. In 2013 he started his studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and joined the world famous Cory Band on Repiano Cornet. He have performed at many prestigious events such as the Nationals Brass Band Championship finals at the Royal Albert Hall London and the British Open Brass Band contest in the Symphony Hall Birmingham.
