Makita Arisa from Tokyo! All prefer the mod. 2900TA Willson!
Born in Tokyo, Japan, Ms.Makita was graduated from Kunitachi College of Music and studied Euphonium with Prof. Toru Miura, Dr. Mitsuru Saito and Ms. Yukari Obata.
Then she moved to US and studied Euphonium with Prof. Matthew Tropman at San Jose State University from 2013 to 2015. She also joined the European tour (visiting 5 countries) as a member of famous drum corps “Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps” in 2015 and recently, she received the
first prize at the ITEC competition (Electronic Euphonium category) in 2019.
Currently, she is an active freelancer in Tokyo area and teaching Euphonium, wind and marching band programs. She is also an adjunct faculty at Mito 3rd high school Music division.
